Meet Our Team of DC’s
Our team of DC’s (Doctors of Chiropractic) work together to best serve you and your healthcare needs. See one of us, or alternate between Doc’s depending on your schedule/needs; we communicate and work together to maintain consistency of care across providers. Dr. Alejandro Roman
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)
Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus
Languages: English, Spanish
Dr. Roman is grew up in Indiana and has been living in the Bay Area since 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a pre-med and biomechanics emphasis. During his undergraduate years, he interned under a dietician and a physical therapist; this exposure to the importance of movement fueled his passion to seek higher learning from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s San Jose Campus, where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December 2022. Since this time he has gained clinical experience in an integrated, on-site corporate health clinic at one of our local tech-giants, as well as private practice.
Dr. Roman has completed a variety of coursework complimentary to traditional chiropractic adjustments, including extremity adjustment techniques, Active Release Technique (ART), Dynamic Taping, instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, and functional movement techniques.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. Roman was an active member of Palmer’s Sports Council and has treated half marathon & 5k runners, as well as soccer players at local sporting events. He has worked with the Santa Clara Rugby team performing rehab to injuries the athletes sustained during the season. Dr. Roman has also been involved with the political side of supporting chiropractic benefits in the state of California, and led Palmer’s student California Chiropractic State Association (CalChiro) club as president, lobbing in Sacramento for increased chiropractic benefits and leading Palmer in retaining the chiropractic school trophy for board knowledge.
Dr. Roman was exposed to chiropractic very early on through his own athleticism as a soccer and basketball player. It became apparent from an early age that he wanted to help athletes recover from injuries. This desire has evolved and expanded over time with the aim of helping whoever is in need of rehabilitation. His aim is to facilitate the body’s healing process and get individuals back to what they love doing, whether that be sports or simply keeping up with loved ones.
Dr. Roman’s native language is Spanish, giving him the capacity to work with patients who are Spanish-speaking-only or are more comfortable in Spanish.
In his free time, Dr. Roman enjoys hiking, working out, dog sitting, photography, music, and good book/food recommendations.
